Mid-century homes at 60-plus years

Arlington's ranch homes were solidly built, usually in concrete block on slab, but their original plumbing is now decades past its expected life. Galvanized supply lines corrode from the inside and eventually leak at threaded joints, and cast iron drain lines under the slab can crack or scale up until they back up.
