Wells, pressure tanks and long supply lines
Many homes outside the city limits run on private wells with a pump and pressure tank. A failed pressure tank, a cracked fitting at the well house, or a supply line buried between the well and the house can leak without the obvious warning of a jump in a water bill. A pump that runs more often than it should is a clue. Inside, the damage looks like any other clean-water leak, but the fix starts with the well system, usually handled by a licensed well or plumbing contractor.

Septic systems after heavy rain
Rural Alachua County homes are mostly on septic. After long rain events, a saturated drain field can't absorb wastewater, and the lowest drain in the house, often a shower or tub, becomes the overflow point. That's a Category 3 situation that needs sewage cleanup, not just a mop. Many homeowners policies only cover backups with an added endorsement, so check yours.
Labs, offices and Main Street
Progress Corporate Park and the surrounding business district include lab and office buildings where water damage can threaten equipment and research, not just walls. Downtown, older masonry storefronts along Main Street have their own roof and drainage quirks. Our commercial restoration service handles phased, after-hours work so operations can keep going.
